When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Hendrik-Jan Krommert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Flashdynamica's Hendrik-Jan Krommert. Hendrik-Jan Krommert was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Flashdynamica's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Hendrik-Jan Krommert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Scott came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Lautaro Mancebo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Flashdynamica's Hendrik-Jan Krommert did a great save. Hendrik-Jan Krommert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luca Rouco's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Hendrik-Jan Krommert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. When Flashdynamica's Barry Zalm in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal.

In the 51stth minute of the game Barry Zalm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Flashdynamica's Hendrik-Jan Krommert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Flashdynamica from getting a goal against them. Luca Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hendrik-Jan Krommert having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Barry Zalm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flashdynamica's supporters rose to their feet, but Barry Zalm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Billy de Jager fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Hendrik-Jan Krommert made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Lautaro Mancebo might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hendrik-Jan Krommert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Mancebo ran back to his position shaking his head. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Scott in the 74th minute of play. Hendrik-Jan Krommert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 77th minute. Hendrik-Jan Krommert made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Brain Veldman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flashdynamica's Xavi Simons was substituted for Michael Scott. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barry Zalm in the 92nd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Mexico booed when Flashdynamica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucien Pietersma didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mexico players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Flashdynamica.
