Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mariano Lacasa started the match with the kick off. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Edwin van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the game, Xavier Figueroa threw the ball into play from the sideline. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Gaspar Alborza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Pacorro Aguilar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. 8 minutes into the match, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Edwin van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edwin van der Sar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Pacorro Aguilar sent off a good shot on target. When Pacorro Aguilar came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pacorro Aguilar couldn't finish the play. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Edwin van der Sar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Pacorro Aguilar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedro Indiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edwin van der Sar having to interfere. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Edwin van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The throw-in from Jose Manzanedo in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Iliana Seseña. 39 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pacorro Aguilar. In the 43rd match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Fontirroig to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Pacorro Aguilar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Pacorro Aguilar made the kick off in the second half. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pacorro Aguilar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Edwin van der Sar in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 59 minutes into the match, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Pacorro Aguilar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. 64 minutes into the match, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Edwin van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Carballar hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Noel Guerrero was substituted for Gaspar Alborza. Francisco Carballar kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Guerrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Pero Falla scored 2-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pero Falla in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Edwin van der Sar in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th minute, Pero Falla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pero Falla in the 84th minute of play. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pero Falla in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pero Falla in the 89th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edwin van der Sar made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
