The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jonathan Venegas a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cícero da Costa in the 4th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genko Balevski struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA. Genko Balevski took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Patricio Costa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cícero da Costa in the 30th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Melquiades Amor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genko Balevski in the 64th minute of the match. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Genko Balevski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Genko Balevski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cícero da Costa got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Wágner Breckenfeld hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melquiades Amor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Genko Balevski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-3 in the 79 minute of play. During the 85th minute of the match Egídio Magalhães completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Egídio Magalhães a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 85th minute, Egídio Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmundo Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Cícero da Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
