After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Rohan Watson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canada's supporters rose to their feet, but Rohan Watson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damián Martínez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damián Martínez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rohan Watson in the 7th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ambrosio Dominix in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jax Williamson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rohan Watson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damián Martínez having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Tottenham Hotspurs's goal looked a bit too open when Koby Wright came free, but Damián Martínez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Canada's Koby Wright to fire away a dangerous shot which Damián Martínez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Damián Martínez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rohan Watson, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The audience was convinced that Rohan Watson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damián Martínez was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Damián Martínez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koby Wright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute of the match Canada got a corner. Tottenham Hotspurs's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Koby Wright ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Tottenham Hotspurs getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Feng Bo Ling hit a great ball. Damián Martínez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koby Wright in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ambrosio Dominix was the one to do the kick off. Damián Martínez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koby Wright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Canada made a substitution. Filip Edwards replaced Koby Wright. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Damián Martínez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With his leg Damián Martínez managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Canada's Rohan Watson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Damián Martínez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rohan Watson's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Damián Martínez was a little too slow when Rohan Watson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 0-1. 74 minutes into the match, Tottenham Hotspurs's goalkeeper Damián Martínez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfred John. Jax Williamson came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Tottenham Hotspurs's Ambrosio Dominix. But to his dismay, Ambrosio Dominix quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Tottenham Hotspurs made a substitution. Eduardo Enol replaced Ambrosio Dominix. Jax Williamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Enol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute Tottenham Hotspurs were awarded a corner. Inocencio Froila went to the cornerflag to take it. After 85 minutes Canada's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Inocencio Froila who took care of the corner kick. Filip Edwards scored 1-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damián Martínez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Prince Anderson came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Canada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prince Anderson couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Edwards in the 94th minute of play forced Tottenham Hotspurs's goalkeeper Damián Martínez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Dixon made a great header on Canada's corner, it was just that Tottenham Hotspurs's Damián Martínez managed to reach the ball for a save. Canada's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
