BEST FABIO F.C.'s Laerte Godoi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Efrain Moruga in the 19 minute of the game. The throw-in from Efrain Moruga in the 22nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by BEST FABIO F.C.'s Laerte Godoi. Efrain Moruga made in the 23rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Eliseo Noboa immediately put the ball in play. Hortêncio Custódio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aaron Alcocer struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Hortêncio Custódio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BEST FABIO F.C.'s Vânderson da Cunha quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Efrain Moruga, made in the 33rd minute of the game. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 36 minutes, Axel Tasis made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. BEST FABIO F.C.'s Hortêncio Custódio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A throw-in in the 40th minute of the game was made by Efrain Moruga with Eliseo Noboa as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Hortêncio Custódio made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Axel Tasis sent off a good shot on target. Hortêncio Custódio came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig. But to his dismay, Lautaro Puig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronaldão Salgado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Eliseo Noboa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hortêncio Custódio was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The throw-in from Abel Carballo in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by BEST FABIO F.C.'s Laerte Godoi. 60 minutes into the game, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hortêncio Custódio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. BEST FABIO F.C.'s attentive Laerte Godoi managed to snatch the ball when Efrain Moruga made a throw-in in the 69th minute of the game. In the 71st minute of the game Efrain Moruga made a throw-in which Eliseo Noboa played forward. The throw-in from Juan Rubio in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by BEST FABIO F.C.'s Evandro Cunha. A sloppy throw-in by Eliseo Noboa in the 80th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by BEST FABIO F.C.'s Luiz Guilherme Bertassi. 82 minutes into the game, Lautaro Puig threw the ball into play from the sideline.
