The supporters of Tallahassee Vikings booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Rubio charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Rubio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Arthur Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Archie Maddox in the 29th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arthur Sousa took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 33 played minutes Dávid Szentesi rounded Costa Rica's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. If Archie Maddox had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 38 minutes into the game, when Douglas Robertson put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Tallahassee Vikings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas Robertson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alan Moruga came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alan Moruga couldn't finish the play. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 43 played minutes Tallahassee Vikings got a freekick which was hit by Archie Maddox. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Juan Rubio got a free kick in the 54th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Puig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Axel Tasis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Blaine Thorne when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Tallahassee Vikings's Dávid Szentesi. But to his dismay, Dávid Szentesi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Dávid Szentesi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arthur Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Sousa in the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Dávid Szentesi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the game, Tallahassee Vikings's Archie Maddox nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Eliseo Noboa took a quick shot and it went in 5-1 without a chance for Blaine Thorne to make any attempt to save it. 90 minutes into the match, Tallahassee Vikings's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Blaine Thorne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute of the match Narciso Mitxel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tallahassee Vikings walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
