Dário Prada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. The Los Hornos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dário Prada in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dário Prada's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Dário Prada blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. In the 79th minute Dário Prada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Jonathan Venegas threw the ball into play from the sideline. Los Hornos's Jaime Veronica quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Los Hornos's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
