If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Percival Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Lakers FC booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Zoido didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Oséas Capixaba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lakers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Oséas Capixaba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Percival Magalhães's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaime Pardo got free with Paulão Corrêa in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Lakers FC booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Campos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaime Pardo kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Lakers FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Paraguay were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
