Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Grzegorz Gdaniec's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Sävedalen's A.J. 孙权 managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Moises Gayoso in the 19 minute of the game. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Grzegorz Gdaniec sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Sävedalen's Rolando Noboa threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gino de Godoi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 31 minutes into the match, Sävedalen's Grzegorz Gdaniec sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 38 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lennart Larsson who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Lennart Larsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Peru's Rolando Noboa did a great save. If Eliseu Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Grzegorz Gdaniec made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. With a little luck, Sävedalen's Isaltino Durr got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Sävedalen's Junior Junior was substituted for Grzegorz Gdaniec. Sävedalen's Davut İkram was substituted for Eliseu Fernandez. In the 90th minute Sävedalen were awarded a corner. Lennart Larsson went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Sävedalen's Lennart Larsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Rolando Noboa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Junior Junior cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Peru players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sävedalen.
