Panama's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Aurelio Feltrin scored to the left of an out of position Marcos Cotilla, making the score, 1-1. A collision led to Semantra AC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Flavio Marconi hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Isidoro Sarmiento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camillo De Leonardis was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Alex Cambeiro hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Semantra AC's Ennio Calcio got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 41st minute Flavio Marconi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 played minutes Semantra AC got a freekick which was hit by Cosimo Potenza. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Marconi in the 44th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Berganza charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Berganza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bianco Bosco during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bianco Bosco hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After 58 played minutes Semantra AC got a freekick which was hit by Ettore Salomone. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Ettore Salomone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Semantra AC's Camillo De Leonardis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Semantra AC from getting a goal against them. Semantra AC's Camillo De Leonardis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 73rd minute of play. Cosimo Potenza kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Abraham Alguacil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camillo De Leonardis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberigo Pasin in the 82nd minute of play. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Spiazzi in the 87th minute of the match. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Semantra AC's goalkeeper Camillo De Leonardis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Berganza was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Tomas Berganza kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Panama's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
