FC Blueskatterna's attentive Kjell Hurtig managed to snatch the ball when Moises Gayoso made a throw-in in the 10th minute of the game. 11 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Nordmark narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, FC Blueskatterna's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but André Nordmark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Eliseo Mina hit a great ball. André Nordmark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 19th minute. The corner led Peru's Luz Tejedor to fire away a dangerous shot which André Nordmark despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Milagros Fraga fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and André Nordmark quite easily take care of the ball. In the 26th minute, Kevin Fagrell reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rolando Noboa. The goal made the score 1-1. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Nordmark read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Milagros Fraga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Milagros Fraga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Nordmark breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Fagrell in the 39th minute of the match. FC Blueskatterna's Henrik Löv was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rolando Noboa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. André Nordmark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 42nd minute of the match. André Nordmark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. Rolando Noboa didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Blueskatterna's Peter Björkman shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Isaksson in the 60th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of FC Blueskatterna:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Peru:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Fagrell in the 66th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Nordmark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Björkman in the 73rd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Nordmark read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, Östen Wik threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Rafael Gallo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. André Nordmark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Nordmark made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Gallo in the 97th minute. FC Blueskatterna's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
