Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Julian Murillo kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Sportivo Luan Toro booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Murillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robert Davison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 19th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efraim Gilabert to maneuver through the defense. Tiburcio Tabor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Robert Davison came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 34th minute, Olli Fiedler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sportivo Luan Toro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Robert Davison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robert Davison made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After the first half Peru were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olli Fiedler was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olli Fiedler in the 52nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Olli Fiedler made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After 62 played minutes Sportivo Luan Toro got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Eufrasio. Sportivo Luan Toro's Ricardo Mendez was substituted for Jo Barone. Sportivo Luan Toro made a substitution. Martins Palermo replaced Olli Fiedler. In the 63rd minute, Ramiro Eufrasio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robert Davison made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 67th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Alonso Berganza in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sportivo Luan Toro's Marcial Iigo. 75 minutes into the match, Sportivo Luan Toro's Martins Palermo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sportivo Luan Toro's Tiburcio Tabor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rolando Noboa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martins Palermo in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. 80 minutes into the match, Sportivo Luan Toro's goalkeeper Robert Davison had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 82nd minute of play forced Sportivo Luan Toro's goalkeeper Robert Davison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luz Tejedor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Antonio Tenorio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robert Davison read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Marcial Iigo hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Peru's Alonso Berganza got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martins Palermo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sportivo Luan Toro's Martins Palermo. But to his dismay, Martins Palermo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Sportivo Luan Toro were victorious despite being under pressure from Peru for much of the match.
