The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 16th minute. 18 minutes in the game, Tobiasz Rostow fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 18th minute of the match, Tobiasz Rostow tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 25 minutes into the game, Master Champion BMX Flat's Tobiasz Rostow nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After having played for 35 minutes, Tobiasz Rostow managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Master Champion BMX Flat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobiasz Rostow was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tobiasz Rostow stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Aarne Mikkola in the 54th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas. Nicolae Ceaușescu made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. When Master Champion BMX Flat's Matei Corona in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
