In the 9th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Trotta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uruguay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Valmar Rink scored to the left of an out of position Joaquin Gayoso, making the score, 1-0. Valmar Rink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dave Trotta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Seco's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Dave Trotta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dave Trotta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Seco made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Polisportiva Arcorese's zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dave Trotta came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Covarrubias to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Armin Strazzabosco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Polisportiva Arcorese's supporters rose to their feet, but Armin Strazzabosco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 67 minutes into the game, Polisportiva Arcorese's Valmar Rink nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Armin Strazzabosco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. When Maximiliano Escribano came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximiliano Escribano couldn't finish the play. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Polisportiva Arcorese's Valmar Rink. But to his dismay, Valmar Rink quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When Polisportiva Arcorese's Armin Strazzabosco in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Armin Strazzabosco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 85th minute Armin Strazzabosco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armin Strazzabosco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Dave Trotta managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Uruguay's Francisco Seco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 91 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Armin Strazzabosco came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Escribano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dave Trotta, 3-1. Polisportiva Arcorese's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
