Jaime Pardo started the match with the kick off. Rareș Hănescu kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 8th minute Hector Covarrubias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Peter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Michael Brask in the 10th minute of play. Rareș Hănescu hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 15 minutes into the game, when Iker Tafalla put in a rough tackle. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Paraguay! Paraguay:s Jacobo Nores showed great skill when he stopped Xerxes Doro:s penalty. Paraguay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Xerxes Doro scored to the left of an out of position Jacobo Nores, making the score, 1-0. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Michael Brask, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mugur Bejan made a great header on Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's corner, it was just that Paraguay's Jacobo Nores managed to reach the ball for a save. Jacobo Nores was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Wagner Doro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. In the 41st minute, Karl-Michael Brask got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 43 in the game by Karl-Michael Brask from a close distance when the talented Jacobo Nores managed to make a qualified save. Paraguay's players were relieved. The supporters of Batalionul U23 Dorobanti booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Covarrubias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl-Michael Brask kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 45thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Paraguay's keeper Jacobo Nores was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged.

Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Michael Brask in the 51st minute of the match. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Paraguay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paul Stoian was slow to take the kick. During this time Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's players had a chance to rest. Karl-Michael Brask received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Michael Brask in the 58th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Wagner Doro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Karl-Michael Brask in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Michael Brask, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xerxes Doro in the 74th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute Karl-Michael Brask shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Michael Brask in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. In the 80th minute, Primitivo Escribano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Michael Brask came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Michael Brask, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Karl-Michael Brask fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Batalionul U23 Dorobanti got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Michael Brask. The Batalionul U23 Dorobanti players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
