RKS Królewscy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute of the game Efraim Gilabert made a throw-in which Milagros Fraga played forward. A sloppy throw-in by Yancho Beykov in the 21st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gualterio Richie in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Malik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emil Malik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 40 played minutes RKS Królewscy got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Richie.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Peru's Luz Tejedor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emil Malik. Emil Malik yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. With a little luck, RKS Królewscy's Emil Malik got control of the ball when Milagros Fraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Milagros Fraga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emil Malik, 0-3. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by RKS Królewscy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Yancho Beykov kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Yancho Beykov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 played minutes RKS Królewscy got a freekick which was hit by Süleyman Özkan. After 73 played minutes RKS Królewscy got a freekick which was hit by Süleyman Özkan. After 78 minutes of play, RKS Królewscy's Lucjan Palzewicz made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind RKS Królewscy's goalkeeper Emil Malik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 94th minute, but Emil Malik got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving RKS Królewscy hanging dry this time. In the 95th minute Lucjan Palzewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Peru supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peru would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
