A well-hit corner resulted in Emmanuel Reyes heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Peru's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
