Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Afonso Amado made the kick off which started today's match. Nuno Ramos charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nuno Ramos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd match minute, Desert Fury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Ramos to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute Uruguay were awarded a corner. Jaime Cazalla went to the cornerflag to take it. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Hernani Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the game, Afonso Amado recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. Afonso Amado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 21st minute, Maximiliano Escribano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nuno Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélio Malheiro in the 25th minute of the match. Desert Fury's Afonso Amado got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaime Cazalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani Correia having to interfere. Hernani Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Afonso Amado notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Maximiliano Escribano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Escribano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernani Correia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 48 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Francisco Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hernani Correia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Seco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Afonso Amado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Afonso Amado in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Desert Fury fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Desert Fury's Afonso Amado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nuno Dikaté hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. A collision led to Desert Fury getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Nuno Dikaté hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Jaime Cazalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hernani Correia was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Hernani Correia in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 85 in the game by Francisco Seco from a close distance when the talented Hernani Correia managed to make a qualified save. Desert Fury's players were relieved. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Maximiliano Escribano hit a great ball. With a little luck, Desert Fury's Hernani Correia got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Desert Fury support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
