Ramiro Laguna kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. A collision led to Belasitsa P getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Dafin Keremidchiev hit a great ball. In the 10th minute of the match Joel Gaona sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anzhelo Gyurov skillfully saved the ball. In the 11th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Belasitsa P's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Anzhelo Gyurov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Belasitsa P defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anzhelo Gyurov. The Belasitsa P fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anzhelo Gyurov should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Dobrin Dorovski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petyo Gergovski, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petyo Gergovski in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Petyo Gergovski came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dobrin Dorovski's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. The supporters of Belasitsa P booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anzhelo Gyurov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 40th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anzhelo Gyurov. Belasitsa P's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Petyo Gergovski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belasitsa P's supporters rose to their feet, but Petyo Gergovski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Mexico booed when Belasitsa P was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mircho Madzhunov didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Belasitsa P's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Facundo Cadaval heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anzhelo Gyurov having to interfere. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dobrin Dorovski in the 60th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Belasitsa P's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anzhelo Gyurov came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute Dobrin Dorovski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petyo Gergovski, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 74th minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Anzhelo Gyurov was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 91 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anzhelo Gyurov. Joel Gaona showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3.
