Matthew Garrido made in the 17th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Belasitsa P's Isidro Artal. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anzhelo Gyurov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute, Matthew Garrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Dobrin Dorovski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. Dobrin Dorovski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Cotilla having to make a save. In the 35th minute Dobrin Dorovski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 played minutes Belasitsa P got a freekick which was hit by Penko Kúrchev. Anzhelo Gyurov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Miralles, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Belasitsa P's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anzhelo Gyurov came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petyo Gergovski in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Berganza to make the kick off. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petyo Gergovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Miralles kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Matthew Garrido. Petyo Gergovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobrin Dorovski in the 68th minute of play. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dobrin Dorovski in the 70th minute of play. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Dobrin Dorovski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petyo Gergovski went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 85th minute, Matthew Garrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dobrin Dorovski in the 90th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dobrin Dorovski in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Cotilla saved Panama from getting behind. Dobrin Dorovski struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belasitsa P. Panama's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
