Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 7th minute of play forced ALDENAIRE AIK's goalkeeper Roy Nakhid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roy Nakhid. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. When Anton Pieler came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the ALDENAIRE AIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Pieler couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the game, Camilo Gaos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ALDENAIRE AIK the free kick. After 17 minutes, Jamaal Browne mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ALDENAIRE AIK and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th match minute, ALDENAIRE AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamaal Browne to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the game, one of Venezuela:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Roy Nakhid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joshua Secada in the 27th minute of play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Pieler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 35 minutes, Geovanildo Zago mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ALDENAIRE AIK and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 35 played minutes ALDENAIRE AIK got a freekick which was hit by Geovanildo Zago. 37 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anton Pieler. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anton Pieler in the 39th minute. ALDENAIRE AIK's Anton Pieler got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anton Pieler to strike the kick off in the second half. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Pieler in the 57th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Geovanildo Zago in the 59th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. Geovanildo Zago made in the 60th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Glenn Bell immediately put the ball in play. Clem Achong made in the 62nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Paula Nunez immediately put the ball in play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquinhos Trinidad, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Anton Pieler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Jamaal Browne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Pieler in the 78th minute of play. After 80 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Glenn Bell who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Glenn Bell got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Joshua Secada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roy Nakhid having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Pieler in the 89th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ALDENAIRE AIK players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
