The supporters of Venezuela booed when ALDENAIRE AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovanildo Zago didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 29th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Pieler, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Paula Nunez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Pieler in the 37th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patricio Costa was the one to do the kick off. If Jamaal Browne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 played minutes Jamaal Browne rounded Venezuela's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. When the final whistle went the supporters of ALDENAIRE AIK were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Venezuela side.
