Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute, Luca Espinar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 41 minutes of play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edelmiro Nazario was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Honduras were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Milagros Cabal hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, ☆冰谷☆幽灵俱乐部队's 叶冰升 tried to score from far away in the 64th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 邓扬帆 in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of ☆冰谷☆幽灵俱乐部队 booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 邓扬帆 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th match minute, ☆冰谷☆幽灵俱乐部队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 邓扬帆 to maneuver through the defense.
