Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dong Jian Yang started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute of the match, Dong Jian Yang got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rolando Noboa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A throw-in in the 5th minute of the game was made by Emmanuel Reyes with Luz Tejedor as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Wieslaw Panasewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 10th minute of play. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gimnasia y tiro's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Moises Gayoso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wieslaw Panasewicz quite easily take care of the ball. Rolando Noboa was a little too slow when Dong Jian Yang got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-0. 30 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wieslaw Panasewicz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wieslaw Panasewicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wieslaw Panasewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Gimnasia y tiro made a substitution. Basilio Guillem replaced Jonatan Euloxu. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Esben Nordborg came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wieslaw Panasewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gimnasia y tiro's goalkeeper Wieslaw Panasewicz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 59th minute Reynaldo Montrelle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wieslaw Panasewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 74th minute of the match. 76 minutes in the game Endre Szentes did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Victoriano Ubelteso. Wieslaw Panasewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 78th minute of play. The corner ended in Eliseo Mina almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gimnasia y tiro's Wieslaw Panasewicz did a great save. In the 81st minute of the match Peru got a corner. Gimnasia y tiro's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 82nd minute Milagros Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wieslaw Panasewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 played minutes Gimnasia y tiro got a freekick which was hit by Endre Szentes. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Endre Szentes hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After 94 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Mina. Basilio Guillem kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Peru were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
