Generoso Koldobika showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pardo in the 28th minute of the match. Generoso Koldobika took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Generoso Koldobika. That made the score 4-0 after 30 minutes of play. In the 36th minute, Jaime Pardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paraguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danilo Uhin to make the kick off. After 65 minutes of play, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Generoso Koldobika was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Pardo in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Generoso Koldobika saved The Old Boys from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Juan Diego Tenorio got a free kick in the 70th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacobo Nores showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in The Old Boys's zone, Jaime Pardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Generoso Koldobika came out of the goal and Jaime Pardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Tadeo Abarca fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Old Boys's protests and gave Tadeo Abarca a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd minute, Alan Campos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paraguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. After 86 minutes, Jaime Pardo made it 10-0 with a short kick to the right side. The Old Boys's Generoso Koldobika tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96th minute, Jaime Pardo made a precise shot to the right of Generoso Koldobika. The Old Boys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0.
