NCA Defensor Mercenario's Alberto Larrimbe got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Guido Dameda tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th minute, Edmundo Espiga made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Grau. NCA Defensor Mercenario's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 30th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milagros Cabal to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute of the match Alberto Larrimbe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lautaro Navarro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Honduras's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Guido Dameda fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 35th match minute, NCA Defensor Mercenario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reimundo Orejo to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Sebastian Villa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Todor Hostar came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 played minutes Jairo Torralbo rounded Honduras's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Milagros Cabal hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Orzaize Brizuela threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Luca Espinar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 52 minutes into the game, Luca Espinar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Pedro Grau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 55th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. NCA Defensor Mercenario's Enetz Escrig was substituted for Rik Caldueño. NCA Defensor Mercenario's Dalimil Mrkva was substituted for Todor Hostar. 69 minutes into the game, Eliu Vieitez threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 76th match minute, NCA Defensor Mercenario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezkerra Betances to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Sebastian Villa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedro Grau. The goal made the score 2-3. Eliu Vieitez made in the 88th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. 90 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Torralbo came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. NCA Defensor Mercenario's Pedro Grau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save NCA Defensor Mercenario from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded Honduras left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than NCA Defensor Mercenario.
