Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marno F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aldo Beltxe was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Peru's attentive Alonso Berganza managed to snatch the ball when Martin Bieito made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the match, Marno F.C.'s Lázaro Cefero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 24th match minute, Marno F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Bieito to maneuver through the defense. Aldo Beltxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Martin Bieito in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Eliseo Mina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aldo Beltxe having to make a save. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lázaro Cefero in the 39th minute. After the first half Peru were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lázaro Cefero was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Marno F.C.'s Jorge Abilio got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 54thth minute Peru's Luz Tejedor made a couple of brazen moves and fired away a shot to the left hand side of Marno F.C.'s goalie, Aldo Beltxe, understanding what was about to happen, managed to get hold of the ball just before it went behind the net. A nice save by Aldo Beltxe. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Cefero in the 56th minute of play. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lázaro Cefero went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Marno F.C.'s Cristobal Dominix was substituted for Gabriel Mónos. 62 minutes into the match, Marno F.C.'s goalkeeper Aldo Beltxe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Dominix in the 63rd minute of the match. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marno F.C.'s Zeledon Valiente was substituted for Lázaro Cefero. Marno F.C. made a substitution. Doni Guedes replaced Igor Jokin. In the 73rd minute of the game Emmanuel Reyes made a throw-in which Milagros Fraga played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doni Guedes in the 81st minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru made a substitution. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Gallo got free with Aldo Beltxe in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rafael Gallo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Aldo Beltxe made a huge save. Peru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
