When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 1-0 when 方松霆 sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. ◇Mz.梦◆金刚俱乐部队's 龚文超 got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. ◇Mz.梦◆金刚俱乐部队's 方松霆 was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 45th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 方松霆 to make the kick off.
