The crowd rose to their feet as Here Comes the Hammer's Valdir Velloso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 after 23 minutes of play. After 27 played minutes Here Comes the Hammer got a freekick which was hit by Tord Spetz. Here Comes the Hammer's Charles Björkqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 28th minute of play. Valdir Velloso kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After 37 played minutes Here Comes the Hammer got a freekick which was hit by Tord Spetz. Valdir Velloso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdir Velloso in the 40th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valdir Velloso went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for John Eriksson to strike the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Here Comes the Hammer's Valdir Velloso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Here Comes the Hammer's Emil Paulin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdir Velloso in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Here Comes the Hammer's attentive Yu Xiong Yan managed to snatch the ball when Alex Chicote made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. Charles Björkqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Here Comes the Hammer's goalkeeper Charles Björkqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Here Comes the Hammer's Valdir Velloso got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Here Comes the Hammer's Gustav Larsfelt was substituted for Lei Lei Feng. Here Comes the Hammer made a substitution. Carlinhos Félix replaced Valdir Velloso. Here Comes the Hammer's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emil Paulin in the 84th minute. Here Comes the Hammer's Emil Paulin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlinhos Félix in the 93rd minute of play. The supporters of Here Comes the Hammer booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Here Comes the Hammer.
