Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 方松霆's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dido Zaykov in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dido Zaykov. Dido Zaykov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Dido Zaykov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 43rd minute of play. 韩星益 kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46thth minute of the game 方松霆 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 方松霆 to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when 方松霆 came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
