Leon Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Leonardo Leoz hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo de Sousa came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Gaona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ernesto Padro having to make a save. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo de Sousa in the 26th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Luca Rouco got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-0. 30 minutes into the match. Facundo Cadaval's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernesto Padro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ernesto Padro came out and tried to block the shot, but Lautaro Mancebo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 35th minute. Ernesto Padro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 38th minute of play. Bacho Team's Ernesto Padro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Bacho Team from getting a goal against them. Bacho Team's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Lautaro Mancebo scored to the left of an out of position Ernesto Padro, making the score, 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Padro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivo de Sousa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Padro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silverio Nazario hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Silverio Nazario kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bacho Team's Silverio Nazario got a free kick in the 66th minute. After some careless play in the Bacho Team defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernesto Padro. The Bacho Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernesto Padro should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lautaro Mancebo in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Padro saved Bacho Team from getting behind. 88 minutes into the match, Bacho Team's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Ernesto Padro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 played minutes Bacho Team got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Galeno. After a defensive mix-up in Bacho Team's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Padro came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th match minute, Bacho Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Iban to maneuver through the defense.
