Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. MILLONARIOS FC were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Chile's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rafael Jauregui took the corner. After taking down the ball on MILLONARIOS FC's corner Kepa Barajo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thiago Pliego quite easily take care of the ball. Angelo Prior took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Pedro Indiano hit a great ball. If Orlando Casaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Baladi Ribalta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Baladi Ribalta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute, Christoffer Blomqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MILLONARIOS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 41 minutes into the match, MILLONARIOS FC's Rafael Jauregui sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 43 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Alan Tamayo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoffer Blomqvist in the 44th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in MILLONARIOS FC's zone, Mariano Lacasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Prior came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Chile booed when MILLONARIOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mon Ibaute didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Lacasa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Christoffer Blomqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56thth minute of the game Christoffer Blomqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christoffer Blomqvist in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. Christoffer Blomqvist scored 3-3 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rafael Jauregui was slow to take the kick. During this time MILLONARIOS FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Chile's goalie and right to Boris Van Acker. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Chile's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoffer Blomqvist in the 67th minute of play. Angelo Prior showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 69th minute of the match. Christoffer Blomqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Christoffer Blomqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Christoffer Blomqvist sent off a good shot on target.
