The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 16th minute of play forced 北京密云县灰熊代表队's goalkeeper Atilano Hechter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atilano Hechter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Atilano Hechter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 23rd minute of the match. Cristian Sancho scored 1-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Atilano Hechter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Atilano Hechter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gregorio Asier made a kick off. Atilano Hechter made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. If Gregorio Asier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Atilano Hechter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After having played for 65 minutes, Frances Boll managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 北京密云县灰熊代表队's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frances Boll was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gregorio Asier's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. At last the ball reached Felix Montenegro at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of 北京密云县灰熊代表队. 1-6. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Atilano Hechter made a huge save. With a little luck, 北京密云县灰熊代表队's Atilano Hechter got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line.
