Sporting Buceo's Maximo Horquizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandu Mândrilă in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Charly Good ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Roberto Teixeira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Zé Roberto Teixeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xavies Casavela in the 13th minute. After 18th play minutes Charly Good shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Zé Roberto Teixeira and just under the crossbar into goal. Stamen Tekeliev might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximo Horquizar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stamen Tekeliev ran back to his position shaking his head. Maximo Horquizar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stamen Tekeliev, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The audience was convinced that Stamen Tekeliev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximo Horquizar was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Zé Roberto Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavies Casavela in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stamen Tekeliev made a kick off. Zé Roberto Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavies Casavela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 58 minutes, Stamen Tekeliev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Playa Malvín's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stamen Tekeliev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Playa Malvín's Quinto Ampudia was substituted for Sandu Mândrilă. Playa Malvín made a substitution. Niva Espellosa replaced Stamen Tekeliev. Sporting Buceo made a substitution. Charly Good replaced Maureen Franco. Sporting Buceo made a substitution. Yao Yan Sen replaced Xavies Casavela. Sporting Buceo's Xinto Carreiras was substituted for Charly Good. The supporters of Playa Malvín booed when Sporting Buceo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Aureo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sporting Buceo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Playa Malvín had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
