Xulian Calvo made a great header on Club Getafe Deportivo's corner, it was just that Colombia's Pedro Manzanares managed to reach the ball for a save. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pedro Manzanares firmly grabbed it by the left post. 21 minutes into the game, Curcio Carballeira lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Pedro Manzanares. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joshua Garrido in the 31st minute of play forced Club Getafe Deportivo's goalkeeper Jairo Castellano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th match minute, Club Getafe Deportivo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xulian Calvo to maneuver through the defense. Jairo Castellano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abram Secada showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 91 minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
