Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marko Ruskov kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Georgi Benkovski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Georgi Benkovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Miralles scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Georgi Benkovski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Tomas Berganza hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, FC Partizan's Marko Ruskov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogomil Stamenov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 minutes, Vladko Kúrlov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Partizan and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. 1-2 became the score in the 37th minute when Isidoro Sarmiento elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Alex Cambeiro hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Petyo Draev took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Marcos Cotilla to make any attempt to save it. Aaron Barrios hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Petyo Draev tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The supporters of FC Partizan booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dylan Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogomil Stamenov in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliyan Sagaev in the 55th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Georgi Benkovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Partizan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abraham Alguacil was slow to take the kick. During this time Panama's players had a chance to rest. Abraham Alguacil made a great header on Panama's corner, it was just that FC Partizan's Georgi Benkovski managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidoro Sarmiento in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Georgi Benkovski saved FC Partizan from getting behind. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogomil Stamenov in the 64th minute of play. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Partizan's Bogomil Stamenov. But to his dismay, Bogomil Stamenov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Georgi Benkovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 played minutes FC Partizan got a freekick which was hit by Stoyadin Gudzhulov. After a defensive mix-up in FC Partizan's zone, Isidoro Sarmiento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Georgi Benkovski came out of the goal and Isidoro Sarmiento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miguel Miralles's late challenge caught a FC Partizan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Miralles helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Miguel Miralles hit a great ball. In the 80th minute Petyo Draev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abraham Alguacil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Georgi Benkovski made a huge save. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogomil Stamenov, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Georgi Benkovski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Partizan's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
