Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Julian Murillo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özgür Özbay, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ahmet Hamdi Ortan was slow to take the kick. During this time LOI's players had a chance to rest. The corner led LOI's Mehmet Akif Cerme to fire away a dangerous shot which Rolando Noboa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Özgür Özbay went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. A sloppy throw-in by Bektaş Veli Ülgü in the 10th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. After a rather tough play, LOI's Ahmet Hamdi Ortan got a free kick in the 10th minute. LOI's George Buturugã played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 13th minute of play. George Buturugã showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 14th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, LOI's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but George Buturugã reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. George Buturugã made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 20th minute of play. George Buturugã took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Buturugã showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 43rd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Buturugã saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 45th minute of play forced LOI's goalkeeper George Buturugã to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sulo Montaña to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Sulo Montaña left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LOI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a rather tough play, LOI's Atak Koral got a free kick in the 55th minute. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaan Öztanır, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luz Tejedor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without George Buturugã having to make a save. The supporters of LOI booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Gayoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Alvarado to maneuver through the defense. LOI's George Buturugã proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save LOI from getting a goal against them. George Buturugã made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. George Buturugã tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. LOI made a substitution. Tayyip Taylan replaced Ahmet Hamdi Ortan. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Antonio Tenorio came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and George Buturugã could save by the left post. In the 92nd minute of the match Peru got a corner. LOI's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eliseo Mina ran over to the corner to take the kick. George Buturugã made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 94th minute of play. The LOI support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
