An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 22nd minute of play forced Tama's goalkeeper Mateo Medardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Mogel in the 25th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Luca Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tama's Mateo Medardo did a great save. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Dante Lacasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Mateo Medardo in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute, Joel Guerau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Mateo Medardo made a huge save. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
