Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute of play forced Boomerang Bombers's goalkeeper Carl Askelöf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Boomerang Bombers's Arman Högström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arman Högström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carl Askelöf was left in no man's land by his defense there! Henry Tolsson scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Boomerang Bombers's zone, Agustín Saelices stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carl Askelöf came out of the goal and Agustín Saelices tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carl Askelöf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of the match. In the 30th match minute, Boomerang Bombers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Nyberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute of the match Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carl Askelöf showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 32 minutes, Billy Sundberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boomerang Bombers and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 32 played minutes Boomerang Bombers got a freekick which was hit by Billy Sundberg. Boomerang Bombers's Carl Askelöf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute of play. Henry Tolsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Boomerang Bombers's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Carl Askelöf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carl Askelöf didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Arman Högström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Arman Högström took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. 46 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Carl Askelöf was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Carl Askelöf made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Lundström came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Boomerang Bombers's Carl Askelöf. Carl Askelöf was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arman Högström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carl Askelöf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 74th minute of play. If Henry Tolsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carl Askelöf was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Carl Askelöf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
