Sigvart Biegel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Radomil Mroczynski scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 1-0. Özgün Hatip received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Özgün Hatip slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 8th minute. Galapagos Islands FC's Radomil Mroczynski got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Özgün Hatip sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Radomil Mroczynski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-0 in the 19 minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Özgün Hatip could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Galapagos Islands FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Radomil Mroczynski scored 4-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anthon Karlsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 31st minute of the match. Sigvart Biegel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th play minute Özgün Hatip came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. 5-0. Jonathan Venegas's late challenge caught a Galapagos Islands FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Venegas helped the player get up and apologised. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Feliks Domaracki got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 6-0. 44 minutes into the match. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomil Mroczynski in the 55th minute of play. If Özgün Hatip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 62 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Özgün Hatip came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 69 in the game by Tomas Illescas from a close distance when the talented Anthon Karlsson managed to make a qualified save. Galapagos Islands FC's players were relieved. In the 71st minute, Sigvart Biegel made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigvart Biegel in the 74th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özgün Hatip in the 77th minute of play. Galapagos Islands FC's Özgün Hatip got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88thth minute of the game Radomil Mroczynski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomil Mroczynski in the 89th minute of the match. Alex Chicote was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 93 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Venezuela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! In the 94th minute there was a penalty for Galapagos Islands FC. Niklas Möller stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. 8-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomil Mroczynski, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. There was no doubt that Galapagos Islands FC were the better team. Galapagos Islands FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
