Anselm Kempe came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Thiago Pliego could save by the left post. 26 minutes into the match, Werderaner 04 Volkssport's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Nestor Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th match minute, Werderaner 04 Volkssport was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basil Lübeck to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Mariano Lacasa hit a great ball. Francisco Carballar hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The supporters of Werderaner 04 Volkssport booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Tamayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wladimir Jungwirth to make the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nestor Romero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62ndth minute of the game Wladimir Jungwirth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Romero having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Werderaner 04 Volkssport's Bob Seebens got a free kick in the 68th minute. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nestor Romero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselm Kempe, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wladimir Jungwirth in the 79th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wladimir Jungwirth in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alan Tamayo kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andi Misenta in the 89th minute of the match. Nestor Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
