Stanny Van Gorp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joppe Van Goitsenhoven in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Young Ostend United's Stanny Van Gorp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Young Ostend United from getting a goal against them. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanny Van Gorp having to interfere. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joppe Van Goitsenhoven in the 80th minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jason Asselberghs in the 83rd minute of play. Stanny Van Gorp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Cazalla in the 88th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Zorita. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Young Ostend United's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stanny Van Gorp came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mexico's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
