Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Marcial Orlandus made a huge save. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcial Orlandus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 20th minute of the match. After 21 minutes, Paulo Pierres made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Guanacos's Paulo Pierres, in the 24th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Guanacos. In the 26th minute Paulo Pierres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulo Pierres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Marcial Orlandus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 57th minute of play. Marcelo Mendebal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Pierres who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Paulo Pierres reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 0-6. 71 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelino Clemencin. 73 minutes into the game, Guanacos's Paulo Pierres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Guanacos made a substitution. Remigio Ler replaced Marcelo Mendebal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. In the 85th minute, Paulo Pierres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Guanacos's Eustaquio Martxelin got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. 93 minutes into the match, Remigio Ler notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 95 minutes into the game, Erubiel Laurgain was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guanacos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick.
