The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Muharrem Sebih in the 24th minute. Muharrem Sebih could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Muharrem Sebih tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Dursun Ekinci threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kevin Mastache, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 85 minutes into the match, Gençlerbirliği's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Dursun Ekinci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
