Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Martin Cordeal got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Rosario in the 10th minute of play. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Cordeal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Martin Cordeal in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luis Andino was extremely unlucky when he, in the 18th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romulo Matia in the 19th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Constantino Ermano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romulo Matia in the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Constantino Ermano was slow to take the kick. During this time C. S. D. Pueyrredón's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on C. S. D. Pueyrredón's corner Efrain Clodio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romulo Matia's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute of the match, Cristian Sancho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Martin Cordeal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 28th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Felix Montenegro got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-0. 28 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Rosario in the 31st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Constantino Ermano who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teobaldo Rosario in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Cordeal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 40 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Martin Cordeal. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Teobaldo Rosario got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Godofredo Reno kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. 49 minutes into the match, C. S. D. Pueyrredón's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Martin Cordeal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 52 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. If Teobaldo Rosario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Teobaldo Rosario scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 2-1. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Martin Cordeal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 62nd minute of play. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 76th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Cordeal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Matia came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Matia in the 83rd minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Rosario in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Roch Siekierka was substituted for Romulo Matia. The supporters of C. S. D. Pueyrredón booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. Halil İbrahim Yeltekin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Halil İbrahim Yeltekin in the 92nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Halil İbrahim Yeltekin put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. The C. S. D. Pueyrredón players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Ecuador from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
