Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edmundo Espiga got the match started through his kick off. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FENIX FC's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommie van Asseldonk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 7 minutes, Aloísio Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FENIX FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aloísio Arce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 14 minutes, Eurico do Valle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FENIX FC and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th match minute, FENIX FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eurico do Valle to maneuver through the defense. Eurico do Valle made in the 18th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Oton Malnar immediately put the ball in play. In the 21stth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FENIX FC's Tommie van Asseldonk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FENIX FC's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommie van Asseldonk came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Honduras booed when FENIX FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oton Malnar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dráusio Madureira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vito Bertassi took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Eurico do Valle made in the 40th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Vito Bertassi however managed to control. After some careless play in the FENIX FC defense, Edmundo Espiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommie van Asseldonk. The FENIX FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommie van Asseldonk should have stopped the shot. 48 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severino Alves.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severino Alves was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Alves came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aloísio Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 63 minutes in the game Eurico do Valle did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Vito Bertassi. The supporters of Honduras booed when FENIX FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eurico do Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Eurico do Valle in the 70th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Christian Sancho. After having played for 71 minutes, Luca Espinar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luca Espinar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute, Christian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommie van Asseldonk was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 83rd minute, Marcin Konieczny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommie van Asseldonk made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Luca Espinar sent off a good shot on target. 92 minutes into the game, Dráusio Madureira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Despite being the better team, Honduras failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
