Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Francesco Di Lillo made the kick off which started today's match. 8 minutes into the match, Francesco Di Lillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francesco Di Lillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Honduras's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Francesco Di Lillo scored to the left of an out of position Lautaro Navarro, making the score, 2-0. After 17 played minutes Sunnyvale FC got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Grimm. Rickey McLain didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 3-0 via right post in the game's 24th minute. Sunnyvale FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! 28 minutes into the game, Sunnyvale FC's Francesco Di Lillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Melchor Elija showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Kirk Camacho hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The supporters of Honduras booed when Sunnyvale FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francesco Di Lillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute Sunnyvale FC were awarded a corner. Rickey McLain went to the cornerflag to take it. Sunnyvale FC's Rickey McLain was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lautaro Navarro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Melchor Elija showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The throw-in from Fernan Gomesano in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Moises Tafalla. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Elija having to interfere. The supporters of Honduras booed when Sunnyvale FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickey McLain didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francesco Di Lillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. In the 65thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sunnyvale FC's Melchor Elija was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 74 minutes, Rickey McLain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sunnyvale FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rickey McLain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Milagros Cabal hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Gomesano in the 79th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Fernan Gomesano notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Esteban Carvallo got a free kick in the 85th minute. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rickey McLain in the 86th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Francesco Di Lillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sunnyvale FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Francesco Di Lillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Iacob hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Moises Tafalla's late challenge caught a Sunnyvale FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moises Tafalla helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sunnyvale FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Honduras had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
