Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hidayat Peng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Chan came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Redbourn AFC's Victor Chan. But to his dismay, Victor Chan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Hidayat Peng managed to get in a good position for a shot. Redbourn AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hidayat Peng was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 35 minutes into the match, Redbourn AFC's goalkeeper Afiz Teo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hidayat Peng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Victor Chan spun around in front of the goal 38 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Venezuela's goal. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Joshua Secada. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victor Chan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rigoberto Mina's late challenge caught a Redbourn AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rigoberto Mina helped the player get up and apologised. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After 58 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. In the 67thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Redbourn AFC's Afiz Teo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Redbourn AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Redbourn AFC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Victor Chan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Redbourn AFC's Victor Chan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 74 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Redbourn AFC the free kick. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Jonathan Soon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Jonathan Soon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the match, Redbourn AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Afiz Teo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 86th minute of play forced Redbourn AFC's goalkeeper Afiz Teo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shafiq Chien-Kwan made in the 87th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Victor Ching. In the 88th match minute, Redbourn AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronn Yi-Sheng to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute of the match Tomas Illescas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Afiz Teo skillfully saved the ball. Hidayat Peng blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Afiz Teo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Redbourn AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
