An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 10th minute of play forced Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper Eulalio Bastian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eulalio Bastian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 11th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mandiyu's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Eulalio Bastian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 17th minute of play forced Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper Eulalio Bastian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bonifacio Mikelar kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Eulalio Bastian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eulalio Bastian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Zhu Bin Kun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zhu Bin Kun in the 31st minute. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Zhu Bin Kun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eulalio Bastian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milagros Fraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Mandiyu's Abelardo Magallanes got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute of the match Luz Tejedor sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eulalio Bastian skillfully saved the ball. In the 45th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eulalio Bastian was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Abelardo Magallanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eulalio Bastian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 52nd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Deportivo Mandiyu's Eulalio Bastian. Eulalio Bastian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 56th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Bastian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 57th minute of play forced Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper Eulalio Bastian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Peru's Eliseo Mina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eulalio Bastian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 60 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Eulalio Bastian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eliseo Mina struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Eulalio Bastian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. Milagros Fraga's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eulalio Bastian firmly grabbed it by the left post. Adrián Guillermo kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Deportivo Mandiyu made a substitution. Roberto Cherro replaced Zhu Bin Kun. Adrián Guillermo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Eulalio Bastian had great luck who in the 74thth minute grab hold of the ball when Julian Murillo from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eulalio Bastian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Petruzzi in the 76th minute of the match. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Eulalio Bastian made a huge save. In the 82nd minute, Peru's Julian Murillo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Florian Petruzzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pedro Benvido in the 96 minute of the game.
