Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Doriva França took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 7 played minutes Irreal Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Dito Monteiro. In the 8th play minute Lautaro Puig came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luiz Gustavo Leão. 1-0. Irreal Madrid's attentive Dito Monteiro managed to snatch the ball when Juan Rubio made a throw-in in the 11th minute of the game. After 13 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rubio. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Gustavo Leão having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Gustavo Leão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hugo Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Ferrant to maneuver through the defense. If Doriva França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doriva França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Gustavo Leão having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Axel Tasis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Gustavo Leão was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. In the 39th minute, Lautaro Puig ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Gustavo Leão was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Doriva França recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. Luiz Gustavo Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 52nd minute of play. When Costa Rica's Axel Tasis in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Irreal Madrid's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Tasis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Gustavo Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doriva França in the 75th minute of play. Axel Tasis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Luiz Gustavo Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Costa Rica had won after a very even match.
